S-AIR SmartDisplay®

The S-AIR SmartDisplay® is a foldable, semi-transparent play screen that displays sheet music (or other material to multiple users). It allows changes to be made to one screen that will sync to others at the same time. A specialized stylus is used to instantly make notes without deleting the original information, and a wireless communication system can be programmed to include the group of any changes.

The display screen is a generous size for easy viewing, and when unfolded, it displays two sheets of music for easy flow: no need to turn pages so frequently. The S-AIR SmartDisplay® was designed for music, but can be used for many other situations, such as business meetings, conferences, etc.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The S-AIR SmartDisplay® is a new way to manage sheet music. The large, semi-transparent, two-part screen unfolds to display two sheets of music at an optimum distance for viewing. Each screen is 10.5” x 13”, folds for easy transport, and weighs about four pounds.

Music can be downloaded to the screen directly from the publisher, and each screen can display a musician’s part of the whole piece, if preferred. The device comes with a stylus that enables the user to make changes or add notes on the screen, where the music is displayed, without damaging the original copy.

Pages can be turned electronically by the group administrator, or an individual may use a hand swipe for easy, noiseless turning, resulting in no need to interrupt the performance. The group’s librarian can store, distribute, archive and display music as needed for everyone.

This product is geared towards community-funded and non-profit groups, such as symphony orchestras, high school music departments, music conservatories, performing arts schools, and theater orchestras. The savings from not using printed music sheets will benefit the groups in multiple ways, and the savings will off-set the cost of leasing a device for each member of the group.
