Tire Snow Cleats™

 

Tire Snow Cleats™ are individual attachments to put on a tire for better traction. Each cleat is a combination of a cable, chain, or strap paired up with studs. It wraps around the outside of the tire, and is secured between the openings in the wheel. This is easier than putting on chains.

Since wheels come in many different configurations, the user may determine the number of cleats required for each tire and install them accordingly. The Tire Snow Cleats™ will provide better traction in snow, but also for other surfaces, such as loose gravel and sand.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The Tire Snow Cleats™ are a detachable chain apparatus for tires. They provide the necessary traction to move easily in snowy conditions. Each cleat is constructed of an elastic loop, cord or strap with tread sliders and a fastening element. The treads can be made of metal or other durable material, and will provide traction in snow, sand, loose gravel, and other surfaces. They will not cause damage to wheels, tires, roads or driveways.

The treads are placed against the tire, and the loop ends are gathered and secured through an opening in the wheel.  The elasticity provides tension to keep the cleat in place as the vehicle is driven. They are quiet and safe, even when driving at higher speeds.

The Tire Snow Cleats™ will be sold in packs of 10, and will fit most wheels with four to five openings. They are easy to install, easy to remove, and can be stored in the vehicle for emergencies. They will prevent drivers from getting stuck on slippery surfaces, and will assist users in traveling to where they need to be.
