Instantaneous Solar Array Recombing Technology™
One of the biggest problems with MPPT is that a unit is installed on each panel, which creates numerous failure points. Because they do not communicate, there is no feedback loop; therefore, each has to be tested to see if it is working. So a 50,000-panel array has 50,000 units to inspect and test.
Instead of a device attached to each panel, this product will connect to several strings of panels. A microprocessor reads the output power and acts as a re-combiner – switching the strings to reconfigure the array and provide an output that meets the required power parameters. Moreover, the device can monitor its performance and communicate to the operator when something is not working correctly.
PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS
Special features
- Extends the usable range of power production from the sun throughout the day
- Replaces an existing component in solar panel technology
- Unique and one of a kind
PRODUCT DETAILS
The Instantaneous Solar Array Recombing Technology™ includes a solar array electrically connected to a converter through a power switch controlled by a microprocessor.
The solar array comprises a combination of solar panel strings wired in parallel. Each solar panel string includes a plurality of solar panels wired in series.
An output electrical parameter level of the combination of solar panel strings can produce output power from the inverter. The output electrical parameter level of the combination of solar panel strings is equal to a predetermined electrical parameter level under sunny conditions.
The solar array is pre-wired to permit microprocessor-controlled switching to reconfigure the array into solar panel strings of varying lengths. The electrical parameter level is at least one of a voltage level, a current level, and a power level.
