PRODUCT DETAILS

The Traffic Light Timer™ is a visual device that indicates how much time is left before a traffic light changes color. The display can be in the form of a clock face or a rectangular digital display. The timer is activated by each different light (red, yellow, green) as it is illuminated and begins the countdown until the next light will be illuminated. The timer housing is weatherproof and durable.

Each traffic light has its own timer, so everyone at an intersection can clearly see how much time they have to complete an action. These actions may include stopping, turning, or crossing the intersection in the given time. It also allows the driver of each vehicle to decide what is the safest action that can be completed in the remaining time before the light changes.

Many intersection accidents occur because of hasty decisions and guessing how much time remains before the light changes color. The Traffic Light Timer™ was created in hopes of making intersections safer and reducing the amount of accidents that occur there.
