Crimson Navigator™ provides a powerful toolset for both gamers and developers. It is a software library for autonomous computing replacing or augmenting a human user of computer programs, where access to internal operations of the computer program is not used. It is a gateway to autonomous computing. An application controller can use the display output of a computer program to determine a current state of the computer program, using the disclosed embodiments. For example, identity of menu options of the computer program can be determined from image frames obtained from the display output of the computer program and used to determine the current state of the computer program. The application controller can provide input commands to the computer program to execute the computer program from the current state to a destination state.

Crimson Navigator™ is specifically programmed with artificial intelligence capabilities. Artificial intelligence is the area of technology where computer or computer-controlled robots perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings by utilizing data. One area of artificial intelligence is automation where someone can have a computer do tasks automatically for them. In this case, Crimson Navigator™ helps a computer automatically make moves for a user in a video game or automatically complete a task in a software application. It can also be used for creating autonomous bots for video games to allow the computer to play at the game and make progress with no extra effort from the user.
