The Illuminated Banner is a banner that can be flown behind an airplane or drone. It contains advertising information or personal messages that are constructed of OLED (organic light-emitting diode) lights. These lights are thinner and more flexible than regular LED lights. Since each pixel provides its own light, the message is brighter, clearer and can be seen better in night skies. Wiring throughout the banner provides a connection for each light, and a small generator, attached to the vehicle, lights up the entire message.

 

The banner itself is lightweight and flexible, making it easier to use smaller aircraft to pull it through the air. The OLED lights are made of plastic organic layers instead of crystals. Each diode is wired for lighting (regular LED lights are illuminated by a backlight source), so the message is brighter and easily seen, especially at night. The message can be configured as each customer wishes, containing letters, numbers, pictures or logos.
