Lost Child Alert™

The Lost Child Alert™ is a transponder-based alarm system that tracks the distance between two individuals. This could be an adult and child, and when the child has passed the pre-set distance parameters, an alarm is sounded. The adult is notified that the child has exceeded the distance limits and must be located.

This technology is made into a wristband for people to wear. The Lost Child Alert™ wristband, is great for keeping track of children, especially in busy places. This wristband could also be made for the elderly, many patients in hospitals or care centers, people with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and others that need to be carefully monitored. Families and caregivers would have peace of mind knowing where their loved ones are and will be able to find them quickly if needed.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The Lost Child Alert™ is a tracking system that enables a supervisory (parent or caregiver) person to keep track of another person. This enables parents and children (for example) to participate in activities where large crowds may be present (shopping malls, city parks, concerts, etc.) and where a monitoring or tracking system may be necessary.

The tracking and communication technologies are incorporated into wristbands (or other wearable items) for convenience, and send and receive location signals as requested by the supervising wearer. A second signal may be emitted to check the security of the wristband, to make sure that it is still secure. Monitoring may be done through a program on a home computer, tablet or smartphone for convenience.

This technology is very useful and was created for tracking children, but the Lost Child Alert™ can also be used for hospital patients, in nursing homes, and in family caregiving situations involving persons with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. This tracking system will enable finding someone who has wandered off alone, and give families a great tool to protect their loved ones.
